Luis is the executive director of the International Long Drive Magazine and the Latin America Long Drive. He was born in Uruguay and from a very young age he decided to pursue his naval career graduating with honors from the Navy Academy and for more than 20 years he dedicated himself to the service of his country, retiring in 2005 after participating in peacekeeping missions for the UN.
His passion for golf and long drive led him to promote the sport throughout Latin America countries, holding his first long drive events in 2018.
He is a Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Lt. Commander (r) NAVY, a Teacher, a Soccer & Golf Coach, a Mentor, and a Leader.
His leadership and commitment have led this exceptional group of members to the creation of the first international long drive federation to improve the quality of the sport and show the world the potential of our athletes.
The phrase “the long drive is a big family that we share the same passion”,  reflects his feeling for the sport and the friendship that unites us.

Jeff Gilder is the USA representative to the LDF. He is President and CEO of Ultimate Long Drive, Inc (ULD). The company was originally founded as Amateur Long Drive, Inc in 2017 for the purpose of creating events for amateur long drivers. In 2019 ULD partnered with World Long Drive (WLD) and attended the first World Long Drive Summit in London, England in February 2020.  (WLD suspended operations during the pandemic.) Currently, ULD organizes and sanctions 200+ long drive events annually for both amateur and professional athletes. In 2022 the company launched ULD Academy to train and coach long drive athletes of all levels.

Other Interest: Digital media production and distribution. Owns Zeus Digital Marketing, LLC, and founded the streaming platform, wingding™ LLC. Loves spending time with family, cooking, golf, and fishing.

Fareen “Far” Samji is an entrepreneur, speaker, author, athlete, mentor and community leader.

Fareen “Far” Samji is the 5 time Canadian Women’s Long drive champion and former golf touring professional. Her personal best in competition is 334 yards. 
After winning 5 straight ILDC Canadian long drive championships, Far now focuses her efforts as the Tour Commissioner and coach for ALD Canada Long Drive and works actively to recruit and develop long drivers to represent Canada at international events. 
Fareen is passionate about mentoring business women and girls and her book Smashing the Grass Ceiling was published in 2017. It aims to empower, motivate and inspire professional women to make meaningful connections. Through the Smashing program she runs workshops and clinics to help professionals increase confidence and learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
